Bengaluru: Yash praises Sai Pallavi’s preparation for Sita role

Yash praised Sai Pallavi’s preparation to play Sita at the Bengaluru trailer launch of *Ramayana*, asking audiences to support her portrayal.

“Sai Pallavi, she is a devotee,” Yash said while describing the actor’s approach to the role. He said she would think about Sita whenever she had a few minutes free and referred to her work on set as devotional.

Yash plays Ravana in the film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra. The cast also includes Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. Shridhar Raghavan adapted the film, with music by Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman.

The first part is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 5, 2026, ahead of Diwali. The second part is planned for Diwali 2027.
