Delhi Police cleared Diljit Dosanjh’s October 30 concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium after organisers submitted revised security and traffic plans.
Diljit Dosanjh’s October 30 show at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium will go ahead after Delhi Police cleared it following meetings with the organisers.
BookMyShow Live said permission had been temporarily withheld while police sought stronger safety, traffic and crowd-management measures during the festive season. The organiser said it presented a detailed plan and assured police it would comply with the required arrangements.
Police have asked the organisers to improve management at entry and exit points, share parking and traffic information with attendees in advance, and identify designated pick-up and drop-off locations. They have also advised concertgoers to use the Metro where possible, while the organisers coordinate with cab aggregators and navigation platforms on routes and diversions.
The organisers have been asked to add about 1,500 personnel for venue arrangements and crowd regulation. The concert is part of Dosanjh’s AURA India Tour, which also includes shows in Indore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Lucknow and Chandigarh.
