11 NDMC public toilets, mostly in Connaught Place, will stay open until midnight

Eleven public toilets in the NDMC area will remain open until midnight from Friday, extending their usual 10pm closing time by two hours.

Nine of the selected facilities are in Connaught Place, where late-night visitors continue to use the commercial district. NDMC chairman Manoj Dwivedi said the change responds to people staying in the area later into the night.

The listed locations include Shaheed Bhagat Singh Marg; A, E, F and K blocks on the middle circle; two facilities in Central Park opposite D and F blocks; Super Bazaar Parking in F Block; and ECE House on KG Marg. The other two are at Panchkuia and Chelmsford Road.

NDMC said more toilets could be included in the extended-hours arrangement after assessing footfall. The move applies from Friday.
