Los Angeles gallery Rajiv Menon Contemporary will bring a group presentation to Art Mumbai at Mahalaxmi Racecourse.

Los Angeles gallery Rajiv Menon Contemporary will make its Art Mumbai debut with works by artists including Jonny Negron and Amir H. Fallah.

Rajiv Menon Contemporary will make its first appearance at Art Mumbai this month, bringing a group of Los Angeles artists to Mahalaxmi Racecourse.

Gallerist Rajiv Menon said the booth considers connections between Mumbai and Los Angeles, cities he described as shaped by entertainment, creativity and cultural production. The selection includes Jonny Negron, whose work will be shown in India for the first time, and Amir H. Fallah, whose practice examines migration and identity.

Menon said the presentation considers how artistic ideas travel between cities and across national boundaries. He suggested works on paper as a possible entry point for first-time collectors, and advised buyers to balance a personal connection to a work with research into an artist’s career.
