Delhi-NCR events on Sept 4: Kathak Brij-Raas and Matki Phod League

Dr Uma Sharma and her disciples will present *Raas Shyam*, a Kathak programme based on Brij Raas for Janmashtami, at 6.30pm on September 4 at the India International Centre’s CD Deshmukh Auditorium on Lodhi Road. Entry is free, and Jor Bagh is the nearest Metro station.

The free 9th North East Students’ Festival 2026 begins at noon at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in President’s Estate. Sourabhee Debbarma, Dikshu Sarma, Danube Kangjam and Moko Koza are listed as performers. The Matki Phod League’s second season is scheduled from 2pm to midnight at Yamuna Sports Complex in Surajmal Vihar, with free entry.

In Hauz Khas Village, *Main Shunya Hoon: Creation is the Creator | Creator is Creation* continues at Lokayata Art Gallery from 11am to 7pm through September 6. IIC is also hosting *Spirit of Tibet: Celebrating Culture and Compassion* until September 5 and a Creative Theory Colloquium on Indian political theory through September 6.
