Amroha makers to exhibit at Greater Noida trade show

Six exhibitors from Amroha will display handmade dholaks, carved wooden goods, gram-flour sev, textiles and blankets at the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show in Greater Noida from September 25 to 29.

The event will be held at India Expo Centre and Mart. The Artisan Welfare Society will display GI-tagged dholaks in Hall 11. The instruments are made from mango and sheesham wood.

Famous Sweets Center, run by Saro Faizal, will present Amroha’s sev in Hall 16 under the One District One Cuisine scheme.

Other Amroha exhibitors include Gulfam Ahmad, who will display cotton bedsheets and dari in Hall 9; Anees Handloom and Readymade Garments in Hall 10; M.G.A. Design, which will show wooden handicrafts in Hall 14; and Prakash Woolen, which will exhibit blankets in Hall 15.

Organisers expect B2B buyers, corporate representatives, exporters, foreign buyers and retail visitors. Russia, Singapore, Vietnam, Austria and Japan are listed as partner countries for this edition.
