Bengaluru: 61 students present 20 projects at Anveshana 2026
Students in Classes 9 to 12, including participants from Leh, presented their work at the final showcase of Prayoga’s five-month science research programme.
Sixty-one students in Classes 9 to 12 presented 20 research projects at Prayoga’s Anveshana 2026 final showcase in Bengaluru.
Sixty-one students from Classes 9 to 12 presented 20 independent research projects at Anveshana 2026, a student science research programme run by Bengaluru-based nonprofit Prayoga Institute of Education Research.
The five-month programme drew participants from across India, including Leh. Teams displayed their work in a poster exhibition attended by researchers, educators, industry representatives and parents. Four shortlisted projects were presented at the final showcase.
Tejasvi Surya, MP for Bangalore South, attended the event along with Manu Saale, managing director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India; Renata Jovanovic, chief scientific officer at Deloitte South Asia; and Pratyush Mehrotra, president and COO of SBI Foundation.
Prayoga said work from the programme has contributed to international peer-reviewed publications, and that some student projects are moving towards patent applications. The institute also said Prime Minister Narendra Modi referred to its work on making scientific research accessible to school students during his August 24 Mann Ki Baat address.
