At Gurugram University, founders trade lessons on scaling and setbacks

Nalin Saluja of Virhaan, Ashish Jindal of GripInvest and Bharat Singhal of Billy Hub took the stage at Gurugram University to discuss what it takes to build a business from a small start. Their message to aspiring founders at the Gen-H startup summit: capital by itself does not guarantee success; products must respond to customer requirements and changing markets.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini attended the Yuva Udyami Chaupal, where he interacted with entrepreneurs and Gen-Z participants. He also flagged off two buses for the Yuva Udyami Yatra, which is scheduled to travel across Haryana until December 2026.

The outreach programme will visit colleges, universities and coaching institutes, sharing information on startup funding, loans, technical support and government schemes. Its stated aim is to help young people develop business ideas and create employment.

A second panel brought together Ankit Agrawal of InsuranceDekho, Akash Anand of Rotix, Sandeep Agrawal of Dream and Binita Dalal of MTK Capital to discuss failures, pivots and rebuilding after setbacks. Akash Gupta of Jup Electric, Raghav Verma of Chaayos, Dr Suchin Bajaj of Ujala Cygnus Healthcare and Yuvraj Bhardwaj of PlanNeX focused on the demands of expansion, including stronger systems, larger teams, technology, quality control and customer trust.
