Bharat Taxi at all Delhi-NCR Metro stations, DMRC says

A Metro commuter can now find Bharat Taxi at stations across the Delhi-NCR network, after the service began at 10 stations in January.

DMRC said it signed an agreement with Sahakar Taxi Cooperative Ltd in January 2026 to provide the service, which operates as a cooperative ride-hailing platform. Drivers, called Sarathis, are shareholders and receive fares directly in their bank accounts under a zero-commission model.

The agency is geo-tagging Bharat Taxi locations and plans to install standees at operating points to make them easier to find. Bharat Taxi and Rapido are also available through the Smart Door to Door feature on the DMRC Sarthi Mobile App, which is designed to help passengers plan journeys beyond the Metro network.

Other last-mile options remain unevenly spread across stations. DMRC said 2,299 e-autos run at 52 stations, including Saket, Hauz Khas, Dwarka, Azadpur, Janakpuri West and Malviya Nagar, carrying about 60,192 passengers daily on average. Pedal-cycle services operate at eight stations, e-bikes at 77 sites, and e-rickshaw battery-swapping facilities at 20 Metro stations.
