CISF staffer suspended after photo allegation near AIIMS Metro
A CISF staffer was suspended after passengers alleged that he photographed a woman inside a Yellow Line coach near AIIMS Metro station.
Metro Police received a PCR call at about 12.40am on Sunday after commuters alleged a CISF staffer photographed a woman without consent. She did not file a complaint.
A woman travelling in a Yellow Line Metro coach asked a CISF staffer to delete photographs after fellow passengers alleged that images of her were on his phone.
The incident occurred late Saturday night near AIIMS Metro station. Video clips circulating online show commuters confronting the staffer, who denied taking the photographs.
Metro Police said it received a PCR call at about 12.40am on Sunday. Officers reached the location after commuters, including the woman, alleged that the staffer had photographed her without consent. The woman did not file a formal complaint, police said, and officers conveyed the matter to CISF officials.
CISF sources said the staffer was suspended after the incident and that an internal investigation has begun.
