DDA records 661 Narela flat bookings on Karamjeewi scheme’s first day

DDA said 661 of the 1,218 ready-to-move flats offered under its Karamjeewi Awaas Yojana were booked on the scheme’s opening day in Narela. All 1-BHK units were booked within hours, DDA said, while 2-BHK and 3-BHK homes also received bookings.

The flats are in Pocket 11, Sector A1-A4, Narela, and carry a 25% discount. After the discount, prices start at ₹33.40 lakh for a 1-BHK, ₹75.55 lakh for a 2-BHK and ₹1.065 crore for a 3-BHK.

The scheme is open to serving and retired government employees, as well as working professionals from corporate, business, entrepreneurial and professional sectors. DDA is offering the flats on a first-come, first-served basis.

DDA said the complex is 1.2 km from an upcoming Metro station and 1.9 km from a proposed RRTS station. It is also near UER-I, UER-II and GT Karnal Road, with the Narela Sports Complex 2 km away.

DDA also said it sold 1,153 flats in Narela during the first quarter of the financial year, out of 1,284 flats sold overall.
