Delhi: 4.81 million voter forms await digitisation by August 17

Delhi election officials had digitised 9,698,217 of 14,510,299 enumeration forms by 8pm on August 15, leaving 4,812,082 forms pending before the August 17 deadline.

Officials distributed forms to 100% of electors across Delhi’s 13 districts during Phase III of the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls, which began on June 30. The exercise is intended to include eligible citizens in the electoral rolls while preventing ineligible entries.

North Delhi recorded the highest digitisation rate at 75.64%, followed by West Delhi at 73.06% and Southwest Delhi at 72.93%. Southeast Delhi had digitised 55.63% of its forms, with more than 690,000 of its 1.557 million forms still pending. New Delhi stood at 60.64%, South Delhi at 60.80%, and Central Delhi at 61.78%.

The enumeration phase closes on August 17.
