Delhi Metro to start all lines at 6am on Sunday for NDA and CDS exams
Metro services will begin early across the network on September 13 to help NDA and CDS candidates reach exam centres amid BRICS-related traffic restrictions.
The DMRC will begin train services at 6am on all lines on Sunday, September 13. The earlier start follows a concern raised by a CDS aspirant and is intended to support exam-day travel as traffic restrictions are in place for the BRICS Summit.
Delhi Metro trains will begin running at 6am on all lines on Sunday, September 13, giving NDA and CDS candidates an earlier option to reach their examination centres.
The Delhi Traffic Police said it coordinated with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation after a CDS aspirant flagged concern about reaching an exam centre before the reporting time. The early start will also apply to other passengers travelling during BRICS Summit-related traffic restrictions.
The NDA and Naval Academy examination has a Mathematics paper from 10am to 12.30pm and a General Ability Test from 2pm to 4.30pm. The CDS examination is scheduled in three shifts: 9am to 11am, 12.30pm to 2.30pm, and 4pm to 6pm.
Candidates must carry a physical copy of their admit card to their examination centre. Passengers should plan their journeys around the revised opening time and ongoing road restrictions.
