Delhi Metro to start at 6am on Sunday for NDA and CDS candidates
Metro services on every Delhi corridor will begin an hour earlier on Sunday as BRICS-related traffic restrictions coincide with the NDA and CDS examinations.
Delhi Metro will begin services at 6am on all lines on Sunday, giving candidates and other commuters more time amid BRICS traffic restrictions.
Delhi Metro trains will begin running at 6am on every corridor this Sunday, giving NDA and CDS examination candidates an earlier option to reach their centres.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said it advanced services in view of traffic restrictions for the BRICS Summit. Delhi Traffic Police had received a request from a CDS candidate seeking an early-morning Metro option before the reporting time.
On a normal Sunday, the Pink, Magenta and Grey lines start at 7am. Those three lines will also open at 6am, bringing the network onto a common early schedule for the day.
Passengers travelling for exams or regular work should allow extra time for road journeys through restricted parts of the city. The summit is scheduled in New Delhi on September 12 and 13.
