Delhi NCR events on September 17: music, films, comedy and Media Expo
A free Hindustani classical concert at India Habitat Centre and the three-day Media Expo at Bharat Mandapam are among Thursday’s options in Delhi and Gurugram.
Delhi and Gurugram events on September 17 include free music and film screenings, Media Expo 2026, a Sohna workshop and comedy at CyberHub.
Kanika Pandey will perform a free Hindustani classical vocal concert at India Habitat Centre on Lodhi Road at 7pm on September 17. She will be joined by harmonium player Vinay Mishra and tabla player Abhishek Mishra. JLN Stadium Metro station on the Violet Line is the nearest stop.
Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan will host Media Expo 2026 from September 17 to 19, from 10am to 6pm. Entry is free. Supreme Court Metro station on the Blue Line is the nearest stop.
Film audiences can choose between *Oslo – A Tail of Promise*, directed by Isha Pungaliya, at the Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre, at 7pm; and *Dr Prakash Baba Amte – The Real Hero*, directed by Samruddhi Porey and featuring Nana Patekar, Sonali Kulkarni and Dr Mohan Agashe, at India International Centre at 6pm. Entry is free for both screenings.
In Gurugram, Mom’s Fresh Pot in Sohna will hold a resin-mirror-making workshop from 5pm to 7pm. Gaurav Gupta will perform at The Laugh Store, CyberHub, from 7pm to 9.30pm. Tickets for both are listed on BookMyShow.
