Delhi Police transfers 43 IPS officers in senior reshuffle

Delhi Police has moved 43 IPS officers in a senior reshuffle, with Ajay Chaudhar taking charge of the traffic division and Manish Agrawal heading protective security.

Eight special commissioners received new assignments. Garmima Bhatnagar will lead the Economic Offences Wing and hold additional charge of Delhi Police Housing Corporation Limited. Atul Katiyar moves from vigilance to the welfare and legal division. Vivek Kishore takes charge of the Special Police Unit for Women and Children, while Sindhu Pillai becomes special commissioner for vigilance and will also oversee perception management and the media cell.

Among joint commissioners, Suman Goyal has been posted to the western range and Rajneesh Gupta to the transport range. Nupur Prasad takes over as joint commissioner for the New Delhi district, replacing Deepak Purohit, who moves to licensing.

The order also shifts 21 DCPs and additional DCPs. Hemant Tiwari moves from southeast district to the special branch, with Vineet Kumar taking his place. Niharika Bhatt becomes DCP North, Gaurav Tyagi takes charge of IFSO, and Shweta Chauhan moves from the Anti-Corruption Branch to traffic.
