PWD Minister Parvesh Verma has asked civic and infrastructure agencies to speed up pending national highway and road projects in Delhi.
He also called for coordinated action on recurring waterlogging, which can disrupt traffic during wet weather. The directions seek improved coordination among agencies handling roads, highways and related infrastructure to address congestion across the city.
The focus includes pending infrastructure work as well as responses at waterlogging-prone road stretches.
