Delhi Traffic Police website adds tool to locate towed vehicles

A towed vehicle can now be located through the Delhi Traffic Police’s upgraded website, rather than through repeated enquiries with traffic police.

Vehicle owners can enter their registration number to check challans issued against their vehicle and make payments using a QR code. The mobile-friendly portal works on smartphones, tablets and other devices.

For people planning a drive, the site also offers real-time congestion information and route guidance. An interactive section on road signs and markings has been added to explain traffic rules.

Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu launched the revamped platform. He said it should develop beyond an administrative interface into a space for road-safety awareness, civic education and citizen participation.

Delhi Traffic Police said the upgrade includes enhanced cybersecurity measures for the digital interface.
