Delhi University student Muskan, 21, killed; police suspect Imran

Muskan, 21, was building an audience through fashion, clothing and bridal-wear reels while studying for a BA at Delhi University. Police are investigating her killing and suspect Imran’s involvement.

Muskan lived with her mother, Kamlesh, and three siblings. Her father had died earlier, and Kamlesh, who works as nursing staff, had taken on different jobs to raise the family, a family friend said.

Friends said Muskan hoped to make content creation her career and was also a part-time model. Her Instagram account had more than 1,893 followers and included posts about fashion, travel and fitness.

Aman, a friend, said Muskan’s sisters had told him that Imran had allegedly been repeatedly harassing her and that she had been under stress. He said her younger brother told police soon after the killing that he believed Imran was involved.

The allegations and the circumstances of Muskan’s death remain part of the police investigation.
