Delhi woman alleges unsolicited message from Rapido parcel rider

Geetika Srivastava alleged that a Rapido parcel delivery rider sent her an unsolicited “I love you” message after completing a delivery in Delhi.

In screenshots she shared on LinkedIn, the rider first asked how she was before sending the message, Srivastava said. She replied that she would complain to the police if he called or messaged her again. The rider allegedly responded by telling her to complain to Rapido.

Tagging Rapido co-founder Aravind Sanka, Srivastava questioned the company’s vetting of delivery partners and whether misconduct brings consequences. Rapido replied to her post, apologised for her experience and said it took the reported conduct seriously.

“Customer safety, dignity, and respect are our top priorities,” the company said. Srivastava said she would approach the police if the rider contacted her again.
