DMRC warns against filming reels with phones attached to moving Metro trains

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has warned riders and content creators not to attach mobile phones to the windows of moving trains to film reels.

DMRC said it had noticed creators using trains for such shoots and would take necessary action against anyone found doing so within Metro premises. Phones placed on train windows during movement could inconvenience other passengers, cause injuries and damage the devices, it said.

The advisory followed videos showing phones attached to Delhi Metro trains. In one video, a phone was attached to a train as its creator ran alongside while the train began moving. The video received 138 million views and 4.7 million likes before similar videos appeared online.

DMRC asked creators to avoid filming practices that compromise passenger safety or comfort during Metro travel.
