DMRC warns against phone-mounted reels on moving Metro trains

A phone fixed to a Metro train window has become the prop in a reel format that the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has asked creators to stop using.

DMRC said some social-media creators have been attaching mobile phones to Metro train windows while filming moving trains. In the videos, people pose or dance on platforms before running after a departing train, creating the impression that they have left a phone behind.

The corporation said the practice could inconvenience or injure other passengers and damage the device. DMRC said it would take “necessary action” if it found a creator carrying out such a shoot, and asked creators not to make these videos on Metro premises.
