DMRC warns creators against attaching phones to moving Metro trains

A mobile phone attached to a moving Metro train window can inconvenience passengers, cause injuries and damage the device, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said.

The warning follows social-media videos showing creators using the method to film inside Delhi Metro trains. DMRC said it was taking the practice seriously and that creators found carrying out such shoots could face action.

DMRC directed creators not to make these videos anywhere on Delhi Metro premises. It said its rules already bar filming reels, dance videos, musical performances and other activities that inconvenience passengers.

Metro staff may intervene when filming disrupts a coach or creates a safety risk. DMRC asked creators to keep phones off train windows and avoid such shoots.
