Dolce & Gabbana Beauty opens first Indian boutique in Noida

Dolce & Gabbana Beauty opened its first Indian boutique at Mall of India in Noida in June, choosing the mall for the floor space needed to display its full product range.

Tashu, the store’s senior beauty adviser and second-in-charge, said the early response has been good, though some shoppers still associate the Dolce & Gabbana name with apparel rather than beauty. The boutique carries My LipStylo hydrating lipsticks, Everlast Foundation, Ever Icon Eye Palette and fragrances from the Velvet Collection.

India’s luxury beauty market was estimated at about $800 million in 2023 and is projected to reach $4 billion by 2035, according to consultancy Kearney and luxury distributor LUXASIA. Dolce & Gabbana Beauty established a local subsidiary in January.

Chief executive Gianluca Toniolo said the brand plans to open 15 additional Indian stores within three years. A Gurugram store is planned next, followed by outlets in Bengaluru and Mumbai.
