DU sets August 23-29 schedule for first UG spot admission round

Delhi University will begin its first undergraduate spot-admission round on August 23 for CSAS 2026 applicants who remain without a college allotment as of August 22.

The university will publish vacant seats on August 23. Eligible students can apply through their dashboards until 11.59pm on August 24, with the first spot-round allocation scheduled for August 25. Candidates must accept their allotted seats between August 25 and 27.

Colleges will verify and approve applications until 4.59pm on August 28, while admission-fee payments must be completed by August 29. A seat allotted in a spot round will be final: candidates participating in the process must take admission to the allocated seat and will not be able to upgrade or withdraw.

DU has also scheduled its second upgradation round, along with second-round admissions under the CW, ECA, sports and performance-based categories. The upgrade and preference-reordering window will run on August 16 and 17. For BTech programmes, fresh applicants can use a mid-entry window from August 13 to 4.59pm on August 14.
