Dwarka ice skating stadium proposal needs DUAC documents, presentation

The proposed ice skating stadium at the DDA Sports Complex in Sector 23, Dwarka, requires further submissions before the Delhi Urban Art Commission (DUAC) can consider its conceptual approval.

DUAC examined drawings, a project report and other material submitted online. The commission noted that the submission did not include an authorisation letter from the project owner appointing the architect. The architect was also unavailable for a planned online presentation.

The commission asked the architect to follow the checklist for conceptual proposals issued in October 2024 through the Online Proposal Approval and Submission System. Under guidelines issued in August, architects submitting proposals must personally present the design concept, planning approach and compliance with planning, urban-design and architectural requirements to the commission.

The Sector 23 facility forms part of DDA’s sports infrastructure plans for Dwarka. The architect must submit the required documents and make the presentation before the conceptual-approval process can continue.
