Delhi-NCR: Five options to donate used books and stationery

Donors in Delhi-NCR can route used books and stationery to school libraries, NGO partners, secondhand collections or recycling units rather than selling them as scrap.

**Books For All** distributes donated books to government schools and education-focused NGOs. It accepts all genres and offers free doorstep pickups when slots are available, as well as a two-day express pickup for ₹150. The group recycles books in rough condition into registers or children’s storybooks. Bulk donations may also be available through its libraries in Subhash Nagar and Rajouri Garden for ₹20-30.

**Share At Door Step** accepts books and stationery through NGO partners. It does not take religious or higher-studies books, and charges for doorstep collection by weight.

**Bansa Community Library** offers free pickups in selected areas, including Noida’s Sectors 16 and 76, New Ashok Nagar, Malviya Nagar, Rajouri Garden, Saket and Greater Kailash. It accepts most genres but not academic books.

**Sisters Of The People** accepts all kinds of books at Lajpat Bhawan. Donors must call in advance before dropping books off between 11am and 1.30pm on Monday, Tuesday or Saturday.

**Aagaz** accepts educational books and stationery at its centre in Sant Nagar, Burari. Donors are asked to email a video showing the items’ condition before making a drop-off.
