Bengaluru traffic: Tanay says it took an hour to reach the outskirts

Tanay set out from central Bengaluru for what he expected would be a roughly 90-minute drive. Nearly an hour, he said, went into reaching the city’s outskirts.

In an Instagram video, he asked where a “long drive” really begins: in Bengaluru traffic or after leaving the city. “I spent majority of the time just getting out of Bangalore because of the traffic,” he said.

He captioned the post, “Getting out of Bangalore is a bigger challenge.” One commenter wrote that spending an hour simply to leave the city was “crazy”, while others said they related to the experience.
