Four killed in two motorcycle crashes in Gurgaon over two days
Two riders died near Lal Hospital on New Railway Road early Friday, while two others were killed in a bus collision near Gulmohar Farm House on Thursday afternoon.
Police have registered separate cases after two fatal motorcycle crashes in Gurgaon killed four young men within two days. In one case, the driver of a Tata Punch has been detained; in the other, police found the bus abandoned at the crash site.
Four motorcycle riders were killed in two crashes in Gurgaon between Thursday afternoon and early Friday.
Rohit, from Jadra, and Abhishek, from Riwadi Khera in Bhiwani, were riding near Lal Hospital on New Railway Road in Sector 14 when their motorcycle collided with a white Tata Punch in the early hours of Friday. A passerby alleged that the car was being driven at high speed and negligently. Both men were taken to a government hospital, where they were declared dead. The car later struck a divider, and police detained its driver, Priyanshu Kumar Gupta of Adarsh Nagar. Sector 14 police have registered a case over rash driving and death by negligence.
On Thursday at about 3.40pm, Anirudh and Atul died after their motorcycle collided head-on with a bus near Gulmohar Farm House, by Yaduvanshi School towards Sector 90 Chowk. Police said both were found dead at the spot. The bus was abandoned there, and Sector 10 police have registered a case.
