Bengaluru traffic curbs near Freedom Park on Wednesday for KPCC protest
Traffic restrictions and parking bans will be in place around Freedom Park from 8am to 6pm on September 2.
Bengaluru Traffic Police have announced diversions near Freedom Park for a Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee protest on Wednesday. Commuters using KG Road, Palace Road and routes around Khode Junction should allow extra time or take the suggested alternatives.
Freedom Park and surrounding roads will face traffic curbs from 8am to 6pm on Wednesday, September 2, for a Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee protest.
Vehicles approaching from Mysore Bank Circle via KG Road and taking a right turn will be diverted via Maharani Underpass Road on Palace Cross Road. Traffic will not be allowed on the stretch between Freedom Park junction and Kanakadasa Circle in either direction.
Motorists travelling from Khode Junction towards KR Circle can use Old JDS Office Road. The stretch from Subbanna Junction to MTR Junction will operate as a two-way road for traffic heading towards Gandhinagar. Protesters are expected to walk from the railway station through Flyover Road.
Parking will be prohibited from Khode Junction to Maharani Junction and on Y Ramachandra Road, Kalidasa Road, Palace Road and KG Road. Traffic police have asked commuters to use alternative routes during the protest hours.
