Mumbai: French toast in Khar, sandwiches in Bandra, Maharashtra menu in Andheri

Rost, a 23-seat café in Mahesh Building, Khar West, serves sweet and savoury brioche French toast alongside sandwiches, açai bowls, coffee and matcha. Founded by Param Arora and Abhishek Chaurasia, its menu includes butter chicken French toast, Bandra Benedict and Bombay cutting chai French toast.

On Waroda Road in Ranwar, Bandra West, Even Steven has opened with sandwiches on house-made breads. Founders Geeta Amin and Timanshu Mokal have appointed chef Christopher Fernandes to lead the kitchen. The menu includes a fried chicken doughnut, a double buff patty sandwich, grilled halloumi and caprese options, along with manual-brew coffee, Chemex pour-overs and matcha drinks.

Luv Restaurant in Andheri West is serving *Pavsala: Love Letter to Maharashtra* on Wednesdays from 8pm to 11.30pm. Chefs Akash Deshpande and Rajesh Katrapandi’s six-course non-vegetarian menu includes sukat in rice-flour pastry, kala mutton, Malvani-style kurli crab, kokum karvand and pandhra rassa with chicken.
