Delhi, Gurugram events on August 30: Lenny Pearce, tabla and art

Lenny Pearce brings his children’s concert tour to Talkatora Indoor Stadium on August 30, with shows at 11am and 4pm. The nearest Metro station is RK Ashram Marg on the Blue Line.

Pandita Anuradha Pal will perform tabla and pakhawaj in *Vande Mataram @150: Dharti Se Shakti Tak* at The Theatre, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, at 7pm. Violinist Pt Santosh Nahar, sitar player Dhruv Bedi, vocalist Alish Mohan and percussionist P Vetri Boopathy are also on the bill. Entry is free; JLN Stadium on the Violet Line is the closest Metro station.

Civil Lines Social screens Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s *Rang de Basanti* at 7pm. In Hauz Khas Village, ShellBeacon Cafe hosts a DIY diya-making workshop, The Social House has Ravie Solanky’s poetry and storytelling session, and The Comedy Theatre presents Shubham Pujari’s comedy show *Rock Bottom*.

In Gurugram, Aishwaryan K’s exhibition *Where the Flowers Keep Their Counsel*, curated by Satyajit Dave, continues at Gallerie Splash in Sector 53 until September 15. Entry is free.
