Delhi-NCR events on August 23: 7 picks from film to flea market

A discussion on filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s writing begins at 9.30am at Bheem Auditorium, Dr Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath, as part of Jagran Film Festival 2026. Entry is via BookMyShow; Janpath is the closest Metro station.

For an evening performance, Mahmood Farooqui directs *Dastan-e-Raahi* at 7pm at the Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road. At 5pm, the National School of Drama’s Abhimanch Auditorium in Mandi House hosts *Parijat Haran*, a Sattriya dance-drama presentation.

Those looking for a slower afternoon can join The Big Aaaaaart Walk at Triveni Kala Sangam, Mandi House, from 4pm to 7pm. Registration is free. Nature Morte in Gulmohar Park is also showing Peter Nagy-curated *The Evolution of the Soothsayer: Part 1*, open from 11am to 7pm until October 10.

In Noida, Nishant Suri performs at 6pm at The Laugh Casa in Rcube Monad Mall, Sector 43. Kalakkaree, a free flea market, runs from 11am to 8pm at Bangiya Samaj Bhawan in CR Park.
