Gautam Budh Nagar seeks applicants for natural farming bio-input centre

Gautam Budh Nagar plans to set up a Bio-input Resource Centre in 2026-27, giving farmers pursuing natural farming a local source of materials such as Jeevamrit, Ghanjeevamrit, Beejamrit and Dashparni.

The district agriculture department has invited applications from farmer producer organisations, entrepreneurs, groups and institutions. Eligible applicants must either practise natural farming or include members experienced in it.

The proposed centre will prepare, store and supply inputs made from livestock and plant-based materials. Its equipment is expected to include storage cans and racks, a refrigerator, cow-urine collection equipment, a mixing chamber and storage space.

It will also guide farmers and natural-farming clusters on preparing and using bio-inputs. Deputy agriculture director Vivek Dubey said local availability of livestock- and plant-based inputs is necessary for farmers shifting to natural farming.

Eligible organisations can submit applications at the office of the deputy agriculture director, Gautam Budh Nagar, on working days.
