Bengaluru girls’ school football championship at Depot18 on September 5-6

School teams in the U13, U15 and U17 age groups will play seven-a-side football at Depot18 in Bengaluru on September 5 and 6.

Capri Sports is organising the SuperNova Football Championship as the first on-ground programme for Nova Sports, its girls-only football development initiative. The organiser said the venue will also have interactive zones and mini activities for players, families, schools and coaches.

Jinisha Sharma, director promoter at Capri Sports, said the event is intended to offer young players “a proper matchday, real competition, and moments that make them feel seen.”

Capri Sports said it plans to take the Nova Sports model to other cities over the coming years, with the aim of building a national girls’ football pathway.
