GMDA approves ₹19.3 crore sewer project for Gurugram Sectors 77-80

GMDA has approved a ₹19.3 crore proposal to lay about 8km of sewer pipelines in Gurugram’s Sectors 77 to 80, officials said. The high-powered works purchase committee, chaired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, cleared the project.

The project includes sewer lines measuring 800mm to 1,200mm in diameter and allied infrastructure required to operate the network. GMDA has stipulated a two-year construction period and a three-year defect-liability period.

GMDA officials said sewer networks in developing sectors between 58 and 115 remain incomplete or non-functional in some places. Haryana Shahri Vikas Pradhikaran had laid parts of the network earlier, they said.

GMDA is also laying sewer lines in Sectors 68 to 76, with work targeted for completion by June 2027. HSVP is handling work in Sectors 81 to 103, while GMDA is working in Sectors 104 to 115, where completion is targeted for March 2027.
