Grand Hyatt planned in Dwarka Sector 23, opening targeted for 2030

A five-star Grand Hyatt is planned for Sector 23 in Dwarka, near the Dwarka Golf Course and Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, with operations targeted for 2030.

The Delhi Development Authority has signed an agreement with Juniper Hospitality Assets Private Limited, a subsidiary of Juniper Hotels Ltd, for the project. Juniper will develop and operate the hotel with Hyatt under the Grand Hyatt brand on a licence-fee basis.

The DDA said it will hand over the site shortly. The hotel site is near the proposed Diplomatic Enclave and the Dwarka Sports Complex.

Over the 55-year licence period, the DDA projects revenue of more than Rs 6,000 crore from the hotel. It estimates capital investment above Rs 1,000 crore and around 800 direct jobs. The agreement is the first formally executed by the authority among four special licence-fee projects auctioned over the past year.
