Greater Noida industrialists seek drainage work, Ecotech-3 upgrade

Industrial Business Association president Amit Upadhyay led a delegation to District Magistrate Medha Roopam to raise concerns about waterlogging, drainage and cleanliness in UPSIDA’s Site-5 and Site-B/C industrial areas of Greater Noida.

The association said Roopam directed the concerned departments to coordinate on the issues. It said she assured the delegation that officials would hold weekly meetings with UPSIDA and review progress until the problems were resolved.

The association also proposed upgrades for Udyog Kendra-2 in Ecotech-3, with the aim of developing it as a gated model industrial area. It said a joint committee of the district administration, UPSIDA and the association was planned to oversee the work and submit regular progress reports. Upadhyay said the model could later be extended to other industrial sectors.

The delegation included IBA general secretary Sunil Dutt Sharma, treasurer Rakesh Aggarwal, and vice presidents Naresh Chauhan and Rajesh Khanna.
