Gurgaon court issues fresh arrest warrants for HSVP administrator, land acquisition collector

Savita’s half-acre plot in Daultabad was acquired in 2013; 13 years later, a Gurgaon court has issued fresh arrest warrants against the HSVP administrator and the land acquisition collector over compensation that remains unpaid.

Additional sessions judge Sudeep Goel also ordered attachment of the authority’s Sector 14 offices, the official vehicles of the two officials, and HSVP Gymkhana clubs in Sectors 29 and 4. The officials have been directed to appear before the court on October 27.

Savita, daughter of Maman, filed the execution petition in 2025. The land had been recorded in her name after her father’s death in 1999.

A district court raised the compensation to Rs 3.1 crore in 2018. Savita appealed, and the Punjab and Haryana High Court enhanced the rate to Rs 7.7 crore per acre in February 2022. The court noted that an earlier warrant had been returned unexecuted, prompting the fresh order.
