Gurgaon resident shares video of waterlogged road after rain

Dr Shivin Chaudhary shared an Instagram video showing a waterlogged road outside his Gurgaon home after what he said was about an hour of rain.

Calling it a “Venice experience” sarcastically, Chaudhary criticised the condition of roads and other civic services. He said his online company employs around 250 people and questioned the services available despite GST, corporate tax, income tax and road tax paid by businesses and individuals.

Chaudhary said the conditions had made him consider operating from Dubai, where he said he had been offered a Golden Visa. He argued that such a move could take jobs and profits out of Gurgaon. He also said that a 200-square-yard house opposite his residence had sold for ₹6 crore.
