Gurgaon police to register FIR over alleged motorcycle collision

Sia was riding with friends from Golf Course Road towards Bikerburns on Sunday when, she alleged, a car began following her and asked her to stop.

Footage recorded by a camera mounted on her motorcycle appears to show the car making contact with her bike before driving away. Sia said she repeatedly asked the driver to keep a distance and alleged that the car’s occupants appeared to be drunk.

She said one of her friends followed the car and confronted the driver at a traffic signal. The driver denied responsibility and left, she alleged. Sia later shared the vehicle registration number and appealed for help identifying the driver.

Gurgaon Police said it took suo motu cognisance of the video and is registering an FIR under relevant sections at Sector 56 police station. Officers said they would identify and arrest the driver and take action against anyone found involved.
