Gurugram reports 13 dengue cases so far this year

Gurugram’s dengue count has risen to 13 so far this year after three fresh cases were recorded, district health department officials said.

Dengue is spread by Aedes mosquitoes, making prevention at homes, housing societies and workplaces especially important during periods that support mosquito breeding. Residents can help limit breeding sites by not allowing water to collect in coolers, pots, trays, drains or other containers.

People with symptoms such as fever should seek medical advice promptly, particularly if they develop warning signs or feel unwell. Residents may also want to follow local health advisories and cooperate with mosquito-control measures in their neighbourhoods.
