Haryana extends voter-roll claims deadline to September 30

Haryana voters have until September 30 to check whether their names and details are correct in the electoral roll and file claims or objections.

The extension applies to the Special Intensive Revision of voter lists. Gurgaon District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh said it would allow eligible voters who missed the earlier July 31 deadline to take part in the revision.

Residents whose names are missing can apply for inclusion through Form 6, along with the required documents and declaration. Voters can also flag incorrect entries during the extended window.

Booth-level officers, electoral registration officers and assistant electoral registration officers can provide assistance. Information is also available through the ECINET app’s Book a Call facility or the voter helpline, 1950.

Officials are to decide claims and objections by October 28. The final electoral roll is scheduled for publication on November 6.
