Haryana keeps MCG commissioner Pradeep Dahiya in Gurugram amid rain disruption

Haryana has revoked Pradeep Dahiya’s transfer to Rohtak within a day, keeping the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram commissioner in place during severe waterlogging.

Pradeep Dahiya will continue as commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram after Haryana withdrew his transfer to Rohtak within 24 hours. The reversal comes as Gurugram deals with severe rain-related waterlogging.

Haryana has withdrawn the transfer of Municipal Corporation of Gurugram commissioner Pradeep Dahiya to Rohtak, retaining him in Gurugram less than 24 hours after the move.

The decision comes amid severe waterlogging and disruption linked to rainfall in the city. As MCG commissioner, Dahiya remains in charge of the civic body during the ongoing rain-related crisis.

For Gurugram residents, the immediate administrative setup at the municipal corporation remains unchanged while the city manages waterlogged roads and the wider civic response to heavy rain.
