Delhi-NCR rain causes waterlogging and traffic disruption
Heavy rainfall on Friday morning led to waterlogging in parts of Delhi-NCR and significantly slowed traffic movement.
Waterlogging was reported near Safdarjung Hospital and the airport after heavy rain swept Delhi-NCR on Friday morning. The disruption affected travel across the city and surrounding areas, while light rain is expected to continue for the next two days.
Heavy rainfall across Delhi-NCR on Friday morning caused waterlogging in several areas and disrupted traffic through the city and surrounding regions.
Waterlogging was reported near Safdarjung Hospital and the airport, affecting commuters travelling through those stretches. Traffic movement was disrupted across Delhi-NCR as rain affected roads.
The India Meteorological Department recorded rainfall at locations across the region. Light rainfall is expected to continue over Delhi for the next two days.
