Hindon terminal to start Mundra flights from October 27

Star Air will begin flights between Hindon civil terminal and Mundra in Gujarat on October 27, adding a three-times-a-week connection from Ghaziabad.

The airline will operate the Mundra service on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, terminal director Chilaka Mahesh said. Star Air will also resume its Kishangarh route on October 25 after a suspension since June. Kishangarh flights are scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

IndiGo will replace its existing Hindon-Navi Mumbai service with flights to Mumbai from October 25. The Mumbai flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Mahesh said the defence ministry has agreed to lease 6,210 sq m of land within Indian Air Force premises to the Airports Authority of India for four additional aircraft parking bays. The terminal currently has two parking bays.
