HMT will unveil its Kannadiga watch collection at HMT Grounds in north Bengaluru on Sunday evening, timed to the 71st Kannada Rajyotsava.

The watches will carry Kannada numerals, the Gandabherunda emblem, yellow-red flag details and the collection name in Kannada script. HMT plans two variants — one with a strap and another with a chain — across four styles. They are expected to cost ₹3,500 and ₹3,600 respectively.

Officials said the collection uses modern technology and includes a radium glow. The strap models will use genuine Italian leather straps, priced at ₹450 each.

The launch follows demand for HMT’s earlier Gandabherunda collection. When it was restocked on Independence Day this year, a queue nearly a kilometre long formed and the watches sold out within hours. HMT has said that collection will return to stock shortly.
