Javagal Srinath seen on Bengaluru Metro with a trolley bag

Javagal Srinath was photographed travelling on Namma Metro with a trolley bag beside him, in an image now circulating widely online.

The former India fast bowler appears in casual clothes—a light-blue shirt and jeans—among other Metro passengers. The photograph does not identify the station or the date of the journey.

Srinath, nicknamed the “Mysore Express” during his playing career, represented India in 67 Tests and 229 ODIs. He remains involved in international cricket as an ICC match referee.

It is not the first public image of Srinath travelling without fanfare. A previous photograph showed him at Mysuru railway station with a bag on his back. This Metro image offers another everyday Bengaluru frame of a player long associated with Karnataka cricket.
