Jewar MLA seeks drainage review after water pools near Noida airport
Heavy rain briefly left water on the road between Noida International Airport’s terminal and parking area. Airport teams cleared the route and a drainage review has been requested.

Water briefly pooled on the road linking Noida International Airport’s terminal and parking area after intense rainfall on Tuesday. Airport teams cleared the route within 30 minutes, airport officials said.
The airport said flight operations and passenger movement continued without disruption. Videos from the site showed staff working to drain the accumulated water.
Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh inspected the area on Wednesday and asked officials to review the drainage system, identify shortcomings and work on a permanent solution. He said any technical deficiency would not be ignored.
The review will examine drainage arrangements on the terminal-to-parking route.
