Joint inspection sought over alleged encroachment on 9.6 acres in Fazilpur Jharsa

Around 9.6 acres in Fazilpur Jharsa, Sectors 71 and 73 are the subject of a representation seeking a joint inspection and demarcation by Gurgaon’s civic, planning and revenue agencies.

The applicant has alleged that roughly 5-6 acres have been encroached upon, with residential developments, warehouses, commercial units and other structures built on the land. The representation asks GMDA, MCG, the district town planner’s enforcement wing and revenue authorities to halt any ongoing unauthorised construction and begin proceedings where violations are established.

It also seeks the appointment of a senior nodal officer to coordinate the departments, along with sealing, demolition or removal of structures where legally warranted. The applicant has offered revenue records, site plans, photographs and map material for the inspection.

The request refers to Supreme Court orders on unauthorised construction and land misuse, including an August 4 order. It asks for a preliminary action-taken report within seven days. A senior enforcement team official said the representation would be examined and action taken as per norms.
